Handling Calls

Connie lets you make and receive phone calls directly from your browser. No special software or phone hardware is needed — just a headset and an internet connection.

This section covers everything you need to know about working with voice calls in Connie:

• Inbound Calls — Accepting calls, on-call controls, voicemail
• Outbound Calls — Using the dialpad, placing calls, transfers
• Send a Caller to Voicemail — Offer a ringing caller the voicemail greeting when nobody can take the call

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

• A headset plugged in (USB or wireless noise-canceling recommended)
• Your browser has microphone access enabled
• Your status is set to "Available"

Quick Tip

You can only be on one call at a time, but you can handle SMS and chat conversations while on a call.
